Yesterday we hopped in a car and drove to Cornwell, a place called Camelford. We haven't seen any camels yet. Hayden and I had a bottle of "Coke" as a roadie so there were some some shenanigans including seeing a man about a dog on the side of the M4, I'm not sure if that is illegal here or not. The scenery did not seem too dissimilar to driving around Taranaki, the road was a bit better though, which was 6 lanes wide for most of it and at least 4 lanes wide all the way to Cornwell. It took about 5 hours in total due to some magical traffic jams that appeared out of thin air. We are convinced that we need robots driving cars as humans are rubbish at it.
Arrived at about 6pm and met a throng of English people and watched some of the Olympics.
I took a couple of photos when we were wandering around the other day but my computer is pretty grumpy with me trying to upload them so I will continue to do battle with it and get them up when I can.
