For some reason after drinking a couple of beers home didn't really seem like the right place to be. Brooke had even got in her pyjamas and had to change back so that we could go to town. When we got to the first place a friend of theirs said "get on the trolley" so we did. I was so confused, I thought we were going to a pub and now we were tripping around the city on a thing like a tram (but it had wheels). It was more like a party bus though with disco lights, cranking music and beers/jungle juice in the back. It didn't have any windows so when we were driving through town it was hilarious to see people dancing along side us. We apparently took the long route which led us out to the end of the pier and back. Hilarious. Then we went to some feral dance clubs and danced like maniacs. I even sang "don't stop me now" at a karaoke bar. Crazy/awesome first night in Santa Barbara!

A Quiet Night In
Brooke picked me up from the train station and dropped me off at her place. She had to work in the afternoon so I mainly hung around her house. I did go for a walk to buy some food and beer at one stage though and I got bloody declined because I didn't have my password. Everywhere else has been cool with my NZ drivers license. Stupid Ralphs, shit name too. When Brooke and her boyfriend Tristan got home we went to The Brewhouse (a brewery that is also a pub) for a couple of beers. Tristan and I did oyster shots which were pretty crazy. I think it was oyster, vodka, Parmesan cheese, tomato sauce (like pasta sauce), some herbs and some other stuff. Interesting. We decided to go and buy some beers and watch some movies at home.
