Edinburgh Castle

I am loving these lazy mornings! For lunch we had an tasty pig roll. Apparently they get a fresh pig in each day and then keep hacking away at it until it is all gone. Yum. We then went to the Edinburgh castle for a look around.

Reminded me a bit of the tower of London (sorry Scotland) just because it was an old place with a shit tonne of history. Again, I couldn't really visualise that this place had been used since before some dude called Jesus walked the earth. One highlight was the dog cemetery, used for important dogs that were mascots or pets of army people. I'm not even lying:

The crown jewels were pretty cool and it was interesting the number of times they were hidden or buried, poor old Scots were a paranoid bunch. We ended up walking through a few without looking at anything. Again though, we had problems with death by information. There were some great museums there but it was just too much. The only other highlight was Gary getting the life story of one of the staff. I managed to escape.

Now we are drinking beers and playing some drinking paralympics to prepare for a comedy show thing that is on tonight.
