Edinburgh town

So, kinda writing this with one eye closed. Trying my best not to hiccup. As I have had a few too many alcoholic beverages. There is a pub responsible but before we get to that:

Gary booked Craig and I (and himself) tickets to "The Stand" which is a comedy bar. I really loved it, lots of great material and most of the acts were better than the show I saw Mike King do a few years ago. We had a fair bit to drink there too and then we moved on to Brew Dog. Brew Dog is responsible for the strongest beer in the world: "The end of History". Unfortunately they did not have that on tap (apparently they are not allowed to sell it) so I got a mild 14% alc beer. It was really good. Reminded me of the crazy hopped up beers in NZ. I also tasted some of the "Tactical Nuclear Penguin", it was pretty crazy (32%), kinda tasted like port. I didn't get a chance to taste the strongest beer they had there: "Sink the Bismark" which is a 41% beer. Maybe I can convince everyone to go back there on Sunday night! I also had a yarn to a couple of guys, one from Denmark and one from Italy. They may or may not be looking for a place to stay in Blenheim, New Zealand when they go travelling. I'm sure Mum and Dad won't mind.

So we walked home and had a yarn to various people on the way. Craig says it is OK to blog about the two 37 year old "Milfs" that he found on the way home. I suspect that he may regret that approval but at the moment he is quite stoked about getting their numbers. Good luck and god speed Craig!
